As a manufacturer of electrical metal stamping parts, we have an in-depth understanding of the design principles and characteristics of stamping parts, so we will take you to understand some of the characteristics and design of stamping parts.
Stamped parts are mainly made of metal or non-metal sheet materials, which are processed and shaped by stamping dies with the pressure of presses.
(1) Stamped parts are manufactured by stamping on the premise that the material is not consumed much. The parts are light in weight and have good stiffness, and after the plastic deformation of the sheet, the internal organization of the metal is improved so that the strength of the stamped parts is increased.
(2) Stamped parts have high dimensional accuracy, uniform size of parts with the same die, and good interchangeability. It can meet the general assembly and use requirements without further mechanical processing.
(3) Stamped parts have good surface quality and smooth and beautiful appearance because the surface of the material is not damaged during the stamping process, which provides convenient conditions for surface painting, electroplating, phosphating and other surface treatment.
Design principles
(1) The designed stamping parts must meet the use and technical performance of the product and be easy to assemble and repair.
(2) The designed stamping parts must be conducive to improving the utilization rate of metal materials, reducing the variety and specifications of materials, and reducing the consumption of materials as much as possible. Low-priced materials should be used as far as possible, and the parts should be scrap-free and scrap-free for punching.
(3) The designed stamping parts must be simple in shape and reasonable in structure, so as to simplify the structure of the mold and the number of processes, i.e. to complete the processing of the whole part with the least and simplest stamping process and reduce the processing by other methods, and to facilitate the stamping operation and the organization of mechanized and automatic production, so as to improve the labor productivity.
(4) The stamping parts should be designed in such a way that the dimensional accuracy level and surface roughness level are as low as possible under the condition that they can be used normally, and are conducive to the interchangeability of products, the reduction of rejects and the stability of product quality.
(5) The stamping parts should be designed in such a way that they can be processed with the existing equipment, process equipment and process flow as much as possible, and that the service life of the die can be extended.
