Silver and fine-grained silver (FAg) have very high electrical and thermal conductivity, low and stable contact resistance and good processability. The resistance to silver for arc corrosion and contact welding is limited, and the mechanical strength is low. Since the content of nickel is small, fine-grained silver, arc erosion resistance and mechanical strength are higher than silver.
Electroplated silver solid contact rivets are widely used in low current devices such as relays, timers, household appliance auxiliary switches (FAg), control switches (FAg), etc., in addition to relay switches with Au gold plating.
Electrical silver contact rivets are used for most relay switches. The materials used are Ag / Cu, AgCdO / Cu, AgSnO2 / Cu, AgNi / Cu and the like. In addition to relay switches, electrical silver contact rivets are also used in automotive electrical equipment, household appliances, relays, contactors, temperature controllers, timers and other appliances.
